What to Bring to the:
  SUMMER KARATE SPORTS CAMP

 

 
     
  Note: All activities are included in the price of the camp.  
 

*BRING A LUNCH AND SUNSCREEN EVERYDAY!*

NOTE: Summer Camp T-shirts are required EVERYDAY. It is extremely important especially on field trip days when we leave the studio. Thank You!



Pasadena Botanical Gardens
Where: Huntington Library

 

Please pack a lunch in a backpack. We will be leaving the karate studio at 10:00am sharp for Pasadena and will not return until after 3:00pm. Pick-up is still at 4:00pm as scheduled.
Please have children wear a Po1 T-shirt if they have one. Please bring a SmileJ

 

Boomers Fun Center & the Park
Where: Boomers

We are going to start out with a game of miniature golf before making our way to the bumper water boats. We will finish at this fun center with a few laps in the race cars before lunch. After lunch we will return home for some excitement at the park. Please wear hat and sunscreen and bring a lunch. .



SURFING
Where: Huntington Beach (Tower 2

Beach Day. Be sure to wear sunscreen, hat and bathing suit. Bring plenty of water, a towel and sand toys are welcome but are your children's
responsibility. A sweatshirt sometimes comes in handy towards the end of the day.
Pack a lunch.




Huntington Beach Mud Park
Adventure Playground


Children should come in older clothes and shoes that can get wet and dirty. They should also bring a spare set of clothes to get changed afterwards with a towel. The mud park has all kinds of fun and challenging things for the kids to do including building forts and rafting. Some kids get dirtier than others.
Please be sure to pack a lunch and maybe a dollar for snacks.

Natural History Museum

Welcome to the Natural History Museum

Please wear power of one t-shirt if you own them. We will break off into smaller groups today and explore some of the fascinating bones, insects and other cool stuff this museum has to offer. If we have time afterwards we will take a short trip next door to the science center.

BEACH DAY
Where: Huntington Beach (Tower 23)

Beach Day. Be sure to wear sunscreen, hat and bathing suit. Bring plenty of water and a towel. Sand toys are welcome but are your
children's responsibility. Don't forget your towel! We have plenty of boogie boards, but a sweatshirt may come in handy.

HIKING
Where: Malibu Canyon


Hats, sneakers and an easy to carry backpack lunch are going to be important for this Hike.
We will be leaving promptly at 9:15am to beat the heat of the day.
Please bring plenty of liquid.

PARK (Sports activities/ Arts & Crafts)

Heritage Park
Location: Irvine CA

Eldorado Park for a sports day.
El Dorado Nature Center

From nature walks to archery this is going to be a great time for all the kids to get acquainted with some of the new kids here with us this week. Please wear a hat and pack a good lunch as they will need it.  Please Bring a SmileJ




POOL PARTY

Bring a lunch, bathing suit, sunscreen and a towel, and a

BOWLING
Where: Regency Fun Center (BOWLING) / Los Cerritos Park

After a morning of bowling we will be heading to the park for a picnic and some arts and crafts.
Please pack a lunch for the picnic. Your children will be allowed to buy snacks at the bowling alley if they choose, but no arcade games. Please Bring a SmileJ




Knott's Berry Farm
Time: 8:00am drop-off / 5:00pm pick-up


Money for lunch and any other souvenirs your child may want. Please have your child wear
comfortable shoes and a hat.  Please bring a SmileJ



Tidepools and Beach Play
Where: Crystal Cove State Beach


If you've never been to Crystal Cove you're missing out. The beach is very private and very clean with some great tide pool locations. Some of the more experienced swimmers will be invited out on a snorkeling adventure while the others collect shells, build sandcastles or simply play in the white waters. Please pack everything you would for a beach day plus snorkel and fins if your child has them. Water shoes or sandals are ideal for tide pools. Please bring a SmileJ




Ice Skating & Picnic at the Park
Where: Glacier Gardens

Warmer clothes than usual with mittens or gloves. Long pants are recommended with big socks (high). Pack a lunch with plenty of snacks as the kids always work up a big appetite. They can bring money for the vending machines and hot chocolate but please no buying lunches. Please bring a SmileJ
